Big Bags and Flip-flops

"Antojo" is the Spanish word for 'fancy', or a sudden liking or desire. I named this little space in the Internet as such because I will most likely be writing just about anything that will take my fancy. In other words, there will be no specific themes, whatsoever. I take pleasure in randomness of things. As for me, I am a twenty- something who have lived in three different cities in the Philippines. I write stuff for a living but would rather spend the time giving in to my "itchy feet". The name's KAT, by the way. :)

60 Minutes

My personal contribution to help save Mother Nature is keeping my candy wrappers in my shoe and tree planting whenever I can. That is why, I am exited about the Earth Hour. I haven’t heard about this until yesterday and I am marking my calendar for the March 28 event. I have also signed up at their website.

A and I have plans to witness the event at a major mall in our city.

We may think that we can’t afford to have no lights even for just an hour with how fast paced our lives have been going. But this is just a small gesture to show we care. This is not even enough to make up for what we have done to Mother Nature all these years.

We can’t wait for more disasters to come our way before we realize that global warming is a fact and we have to do something.

We owe this to her.
