Thrift Shopping
When it comes to thrift shopping, I must say I am a convert. During the time when everybody was rummaging through piles and piles of clothes in markets and sidewalks around the Philippines, I was somewhere else. I couldn’t care less. Then.
When I started working with my current company, I realized the joy and the not-so-nice side of thrift shopping. I had the chance to go thrift shopping...

Summer's Over
It is now starting to rain in my side of the world. And since I easily get cold, I would want to have these:
Another Shampoo, Yet
Unfortunately, the shampoo I got from Ilog Maria left my hair stiff. And, the amount of hair that fell off my head was worse than when I was using a commercial shampoo. It was alarming enough that I had to discard the bottle even if I had only used around 10 grams out of the 275. I am not exaggarating here. If you were to see the bottle, you won’t even notice it has been used. Anyway, this...

Not Over It Yet But Still Moving On...
I am still disappointed about the turn out of the supposed Singapore trip. However, I can’t just sulk, can I?
So, I tried to book another flight yesterday and it will just be to somewhere in my country where I have never been to. I made up for the canceled Singapore trip by going to at least three areas up north.
The places to visit are not definite. I am still in the process of asking...
Going Natural
Having to access the internet most of the day, allows me to come across useful sites. Be it concerns regarding health, beauty, travel, shopping, etc., the internet has answers. This is the reason why you can’t blame me for spending more time surfing, rather than actually working! ;) Anyway, for quite some time now, I have been looking up the benefits of all things organic. This started when...
Office Tables Can't Make You Happy
Remember I mentioned before that we will be moving out? Well, we already did. Starting Tuesday of this week, we reported for work at the new building. It is not as nice as the previous one but my area is bigger. I also have a new table. It is not like the typical table that fits nothing else but a computer and the two other boxes that usually goes with it. It is a real office table with drawers on...

CHANGE
I know I haven’t updated the site for weeks now. And I am not going to make any excuses. Life was just how it was- me thinking my life is hectic. But that is just because I procrastinate. Anyway, just a few hours ago, my team leader asked me of my thought if I were to be transeferred to the Creative Department. This came as a surprise since I am not artistically inclined, especially with...
We Are Moving Out
Oh, no not A and I. The office is. It was announced this morning that it is final and it will be very soon- like, end of this month.
I don’t really like it. And, these are the reasons:
1. The new building is far.
2. Because of reason #1, it would then mean I have to shell out more money for fare alone. (The place is three rides away from where I live!)
3. I can’t consider moving to a...
Provider C, Are You The One?
After seeing the doctor yesterday, I thought of taking a chance. I went to the office of yet another internet provider. I didn’t bother to check this one out before since they don’t have lines in the area where I live and their rate is more expensive than that of the other providers. Nonetheless, I went inside their office to inquire.
One of the staff said they could now provide their...
Swimming Is Still Not Allowed
I went to see my doctor today. And he told me that my corneal ulcer is still active but it has improved a great deal. However, I still cannot wear contact lenses and go swimming. =(
This is the reason why I haven’t planned anything beach related to spend the summer. I just hope I get well soon.
I will see him again after the Holy Week.

How To Live In A Shoebox?
I was able to convince The Landlady to give us a better rate should we transfer to a bigger room in the house. And so, A and I went to the office of an internet provider to apply for a connection. Unfortunately, Provider A’s lines in our area are already full. This sunk my heart to the depths of the sea.
The next day, Provider B told us they have a connection in the area, but they would...
I Am Back
No computer, contact lens, shopping at thrift stores, and swimming for me for the past week. I was diagnosed with a corneal ulcer that I had to rest my eyes and stay out of the office for 7 days.
Though I was sick, I was glad for the rest. Especially, that I still get paid. I didn’t do much apart from sleeping most of the day and going to malls when the summer heat at home becomes too much...
60 Minutes
My personal contribution to help save Mother Nature is keeping my candy wrappers in my shoe and tree planting whenever I can. That is why, I am exited about the Earth Hour. I haven’t heard about this until yesterday and I am marking my calendar for the March 28 event. I have also signed up at their website.
A and I have plans to witness the event at a major mall in our city.
We may...

Cans Have A Purpose
My cousin, K, lives in England. She grew up learning to follow the “NO LITTERING” rule. I live in the Philippines. Sadly, littering here is as normal as the call of nature. I was bound to do the same since that was the example I grew up to see (In the eyes of a child, whatever the adults do is right!). However, unknowingly my cousin saved me from being one of Mother Nature’s...

Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!! S@*t!
If there is one thing I hate, that would be crawling animals, insects, or whatever you want to call it!

Last night, A and I were watching Slumdog Millionaire. The door and windows of our room were left open as the summer heat was unbearable. We didn’t know this was a bad idea until a mice came running into our room and took cover somewhere in the shoe rack as Jamal Malik was...
I wish I could get a bigger room that won't hurt...
Me and my roommate definitely need more room for our stuff.
